A microcircuit is a miniature electronic device deposited on a semiconductor crystal. Microcircuits are manufactured with or without non-separable cases when microcircuits are used in the manufacture of microassemblies. To install or dismantle a microcircuit, there are several rules.
It is necessary
- - electric soldering iron, 25 watts;
- - wire solder POS-61;
- - a suction for solder.
Instructions
Step 1
Purchase a soldering iron with a thin, sharp tip, no more than 25 watts from a radio store. The tip of the soldering iron must be grounded, as many ICs are very sensitive to static electricity. Follow this rule, otherwise the microcircuit may be damaged during installation.
Step 2
Buy low-melting wire solder from a radio store, for example, POS-61. It already contains the flux-rosin necessary for soldering. Solder will be needed to mount the microcircuit.
Step 3
Purchase a solder suction from a radio supply store. The simplest solder suction is a vacuum pump. A solder suction will be needed when dismantling the microcircuit.
Step 4
Disassemble the faulty microcircuit. To do this, cock the suction piston to the working position and warm up the soldering iron. Melt the solder at the leg of the microcircuit. Bring the suction handpiece to it and press the suction release button. In this case, the molten solder is sucked into the interior of the suction. In this way, clean all the legs of the old microcircuit from the solder and remove it from the board.
Step 5
If the microcircuit is inexpensive, then install it in the board in the usual way. Carefully strip the legs of the new microcircuit. Insert the new microcircuit in place of the old one into the board. Apply some solder to the heated soldering iron. Solder all the legs of the microcircuit quickly and accurately in turn.
Step 6
If the microcircuit is expensive, purchase a panel for it in the radio products for its size. Solder the panel in place of the old microcircuit and insert the new microcircuit into it. If the microcircuit turns out to be inoperative, you can exchange it in a radio store for a similar one or return the money spent. Radio stores do not accept soldered radio parts for exchange.
