Every person who spends a lot of time at the computer should be able to correctly adjust the position of his monitor. This is necessary for many reasons. The correct position of the monitor noticeably less strains the eyes, makes staying at the computer more comfortable and has a good effect on posture. If the monitor is tilted in the wrong way, it will burn not only cause some inconvenience while working at the computer, but also lead to negative consequences.
Instructions
Step 1
In the case of a laptop, tilting the monitor to a comfortable position is easy. It is enough to make only a small effort, raising or lowering the laptop cover, which is its monitor. Here you will not have to press special buttons, try to figure something out. Everything is extremely simple and straightforward. However, it is important to remember that the correct tilt of the monitor is when the base is slightly closer to you than the top. In degrees, this value reaches about 10-15, if you count from the vertical line. There are times when the monitor, on the contrary, seems to hang over the table with its upper part. But this position is acceptable for work only if the laptop is located at a high enough height.
Step 2
In the case of LCD monitors, the tilt is done somewhat differently. If the monitor comes with a standard stand, you must press the special button located on the stand. It drives a small roller at the end of the plate that attaches to the back of the monitor. Thanks to the sliding of such a roller, the monitor tilts vertically. There are also various advanced LCD stands that have a more sophisticated design. They allow you to adjust the position of the monitor in height, tilt and rotate it in the vertical and horizontal planes.
Step 3
In the case of the oldest model of monitors with cathode ray tubes, the tilt can be carried out by slight degrees. The reason for this is its configuration and bulkiness compared to more modern devices of this type. Here, tilt is carried out by pressing a button, located at the bottom of the front of the monitor. However, few people still have such old models of monitors, so information about the tilt of LCD monitors and the correct position of the laptop lid is more valuable.
