Very often, when installing various kinds of programs, the user does not see the checked boxes. As a result, software appears on the computer, which may be completely unnecessary. One of these programs is the "Amigo" browser.
Instructions
Step 1
For Windows XP and Windows 7 users: go to the Start menu, select Control Panel from the drop-down list, and then go to the Add / Remove window. For Windows 8 users: swipe to the right and bring up the menu, then click on the "Settings" button, select "Control Panel" there and find "Programs and Features" in it.
Step 2
Scroll down and find the Amigo browser. Click on it with the left mouse button. An active "Delete" button should appear in the menu at the top (Windows 7 and XP) or next to (Windows 8). The uninstaller will tell you what to do and how to do it. To completely remove "Amigo" from the computer, it is recommended to check the boxes next to "delete all settings and browser files contained on the user's computer."
Step 3
However, such actions may not be enough, since the Mail. Ru Updater file is installed along with Amigo, which restores all components after removal. Go to Task Manager. This can be done in three ways. First, right-click on the bottom Windows menu and select "Start Task Manager". Second: press the key combination Ctrl + Alt + Del and select "Task Manager". Third: press the key combination Ctrl + Shift + ESC.
Step 4
To remove the "Amigo" browser from your computer, select the "Processes" tab and find the Mail. Ru Update item there, right-click on it and click on the "Show file location" item. A folder will open in front of you, return to the manager and complete the selected process. Go back to the folder, select all files, and then press Shift + Del and confirm the deletion.
