The operability of the TV tuner directly depends on the correctness of its connection. This can be done in two ways - using DVI or VGA cables.

Instructions
Step 1
Study carefully the device of the AVerTV DVI Box 1080i TV tuner. It has two groups of connectors. The first is used to connect external devices and consists of component and composite video input, S-video input, as well as audio and headphone input and output. The second group of connectors is designed to ensure the operability of the device and consists of an input for a power supply, sound, a TV antenna and a DVI input, as well as a DVI output for connecting to a display and an audio output for connecting an amplifier or speakers.
Step 2
Select the method to connect the AVerTV DVI Box 1080i TV Tuner to your computer or monitor. You can use VGA or DVI connecting cables. It should be noted that in no case should they be mixed, otherwise it will lead to signal loss.
Step 3
Take a DVI cable and connect the DVI output of your computer's video card to the DVI input of your TV tuner to connect to your computer. After that, use a similar cable to connect the DVI output of the tuner and the DVI input of your PC monitor. After that, you can proceed to direct tuning of the tuner.
Step 4
Use the VGA connection of the AVerTV DVI Box 1080i tuner if your computer is equipped with a video card that only has a VGA output, and the monitor must be equipped with a VGA input. Otherwise, you will not be able to connect and configure the tuner correctly.
Step 5
It is also worth noting that with such a connection it is necessary to purchase additional VGA-DVI adapters, since they will be needed to connect the DVI input and output of the tuner via a VGA cable to the VGA input and output of your PC. The rest of the connection is similar to the previous method.
Step 6
Turn on the AVerTV DVI Box 1080i tuner and check if it works. Go to the "Settings" menu, specify the required parameters and configure the channels.
