The demonstration of demo games ("demos") is often used by computer software developers for clarity and variety of gameplay. Often, "demos" are compiled and shown at the end of each game segment based on the materials of the gamer himself. Amateurs are often faced with the task of creating videos from "demos".
Instructions
Step 1
Install the DivX codec. It will allow you to fully create and view videos. Download the package from the official site. Unpack the zip file with an archiver, run the installer. After installing the DivX codec, restart the system.
Step 2
You can use standard means of capturing video from a computer screen. The most popular instrument is called fraps. You can also download Fraps for free from the official website.
Step 3
Install and run Fraps. Press Rec and start the game. Now all your gameplay will be recorded in the video file on your hard drive that you specified when installing the program. At the end of the "shooting" of the demo game, click on the "fraps" Stop.
Step 4
You don't need to use classic screen capture apps to create a video. Sometimes it is enough to get key frames of the game (in the form of screenshots, "photo" of the screen) and glue them into a single video file.
Step 5
You can get a screenshot of the game by pressing the Prt Sc function key (read as "Printscreen"). Then you can paste the resulting image from the clipboard into a file of any graphics editor. To do this, open the Edit menu on the taskbar and select Paste from Clipboard.
Step 6
Saving screenshots can be easier if you have Yandex. Disk installed. Then all the images of your game will automatically go to the "Screenshots" directory of your cloud storage.
Step 7
The Bmp2Avi program will allow you to merge screenshots into a single file, add music, text. To do this, select the Open DIR item from the File menu. Select a folder with photos, mark the screenshots you need. Thus, you can make a video from the "demo" in the most professional way, placing only the key points in the video.
