Genius is a well-known Russian manufacturer of computer accessories. The company also produces wireless mice, which can be configured in three stages: connecting a wireless adapter, installing a driver, and connecting the device itself.
Instructions
Step 1
Plug the USB adapter that comes with the mouse into the USB port of your computer or laptop. Wait until the connected device is detected in the operating system, following the notifications that appear in the system tray. Once the Genius mouse driver is automatically detected, you can wirelessly connect the mouse itself.
Step 2
If Windows displays a notification that the drivers have not been installed, insert the software disc that came with the mouse into the computer's disk drive. If there is no disc, go to the official Genius website. Click on the "Drivers" link at the top right of the screen. In the list that appears, select "Computer Mice". Click on your device model and download the driver installation files for the correct version of your operating system, which you can specify in the list provided.
Step 3
When the installer for the driver finishes downloading, launch it and follow the instructions on the screen. After the notification that the installation is complete, restart your computer to apply the settings.
Step 4
Pull out and then reinsert the wireless mouse adapter into the USB port. Install batteries in the mouse. If you have a mouse power on switch, slide it to the On position. If the regulator is missing, after installing the battery, the power sensor will immediately light up red.
Step 5
Press and hold the Connect button on the bottom of the mouse. If the key is present on the connector, press it and then wait for the connection between the device and the wireless adapter to be established. The Connect button on the mouse and on the adapter must be pressed simultaneously. After about 5-10 seconds, the devices will be detected and you can start using them. If the connection fails, remove the Genius connector from the USB port on your computer and try again. The setup is complete.
