While some laptops support an interface for connecting memory cards to a computer, some models do not provide such connectors, thereby creating some inconvenience for owners.
It is necessary
Laptop, flash card, USB adapter, antivirus
Instructions
Step 1
If we talk about a laptop model in which slots for memory cards of various formats are implemented, then inserting a USB flash drive will look quite simple. All that is needed for this is the flash drive itself and an antivirus. Insert the memory card into the appropriate slot and wait for it to be detected by the system. If you have autorun configured, then just close the pop-up window when the card is connected and go to the "My Computer" folder.
Step 2
Here you need to click on the shortcut of the connected memory card with the right mouse button. In the menu that opens, click on the "Check for viruses" option and wait until the anti-virus software finishes scanning the card. If no threats are found to your computer, you can continue to work with the memory card.
Step 3
If your laptop does not provide ports for memory cards, special devices - USB adapters will come to your rescue. Such adapters have connectors for all existing formats of memory cards and are connected to a computer via a USB interface. Connect the device to the laptop and insert the memory card into the appropriate slot. Next, scan for viruses and continue working with the map if no malware is found. If the antivirus detects the presence of viruses on the card, it is better to avoid opening it on a laptop or try to disinfect the contents of the device.
