Memory cards have been replacing bulky CDs for many years, allowing you to store large amounts of information in a minimal size. Typically, memory cards are used in cameras or mobile phones, and some users find it difficult to transfer information from the card to a computer.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have removed the card from your camera or phone and do not know how to insert it into your computer, the Card reader, a universal memory card reader, will help you. The card reader is a small box, the size of a mobile phone and has several slots for most types of memory cards. The card reader is connected to the computer via a USB interface and no additional drivers are required to install it - they inserted it into the computer like a USB flash drive, and received information from any memory card.
Step 2
Connecting memory cards of MMC, SD, Compact flash, XD, Memory Stick and Smart Media formats to the card reader is usually straightforward. For micro and mini cards, use a special adapter for a larger slot. All micro and mini memory cards are equipped with this adapter. You need to insert the card into the adapter and then insert the adapter into the card reader.
