Step 2
In the context menu that will appear after that, select the item "Screen resolution", next to which there is a small icon in the form of a monitor.
Step 3
After the control panel window with the name "Screen settings" opens, the display selection will become available (in this case, "Mobile PC display" must be selected), and it will also be possible to change the resolution of the selected screen and the orientation of the image displayed on the screen.
Step 4
Next, you need to select the screen resolution that the user requires in the drop-down list called "Resolution". To do this, use the mouse pointer to move the slider up or down. The higher the user moves the slider, the higher the screen resolution will become. If you move the slider below, the screen resolution will decrease.
Step 5
Now it is important not to forget to click on the "Apply" button in order to confirm the changes in Windows 7 or Windows Vista. By confirming the changes, the user saves the actions he made before. If the user forgets to click on the "Apply" button, the changes will not be saved and will have to start from the very beginning.
Step 6
To close the "Screen Settings" window, click the "OK" button. Now you can start operating a laptop with a changed monitor screen resolution.
