The operating system Windows Vista was far from the best product from Microsoft. Too many bugs and flaws were found in it already at the initial stage of its implementation. Therefore, it is not surprising that users who have bought a laptop with Vista preinstalled "on board" prefer to uninstall it and install a more modern or stable operating system, such as Windows XP or Windows 7.

Instructions
Step 1
There are two ways to remove an operating system from a computer or laptop: format the hard drive or its partition on which it is installed, or install another operating system. The first method will give you the desired result: Vista will be removed from the laptop, but you will no longer be able to use it until you install the OS. In this case, it all comes down to the second method, which should be considered in more detail.
Step 2
Insert the disc containing the Windows XP or Seven operating system installation files. When turning on your computer, press F8 and select the boot priority from your DVD drive. You will see a choice of the operating system version (if the disc contains several options). Please select the required version depending on the capabilities of your laptop.
Step 3
After copying the installation files, a window will appear showing the partitions of your hard drive. Select the partition containing the installed Windows Vista. You will be prompted to format the section or leave it unchanged. Select "Format with NTFS (Full)".
Step 4
Wait until the installation of the new OS is complete, periodically entering the data requested by the installer.
