Step 1
Expand the Opera browser and take a close look at the toolbar. On the right side of the toolbar, there should be an icon in the form of a small trash can - this is the history of closed tabs. Click on the icon to display a list of closed tabs. If there are too many entries in the journal, the program will collapse them like menu items - to view further you will need to hover your mouse cursor over the triangle below.
Step 2
Click on "Clear history of closed tabs" to remove items from the list. All tabs will disappear and the shopping cart will be empty. It is no longer possible to return them back, the basket will be filled with new addresses. If you don't want Opera to keep closed tabs in the Trash, go to your browser settings. On the "Advanced" tab, find the "History" item in the list on the left. Set the value to 0 in the field "Remember addresses" and click "OK" to apply the change in settings.
Step 3
If you are using the Internet Explorer browser, then closed tabs are located inside the address bar. Expand the address bar to see the links. Removing tabs is simple: when you hover over a link, a small cross appears, and when you click on it, the link is deleted. It is best to use Quick Launch windows in browsers.
Step 4
As a rule, such options allow you to clearly see in real time all the sites that are available in these windows. For example, the Opera browser has updated a new version of its program, and now you can add an unlimited number of windows for sites. Added windows can be moved among themselves to build a pyramid of the most important sites.
Step 5
To remove tabs in the history in the Google Chrome browser, go to the "Options" tab in the upper right corner. Next, go to "Advanced" and click the "Delete browsing data" button. The Mozilla browser makes things much easier. Go to the "Journal" tab. Next in the list, select "Recently Closed Tabs" and clear the list.
