The Google Chrome browser is becoming more and more popular. Its undoubted advantages include the simplicity of the interface and very fast work. Nevertheless, at the first acquaintance with this browser, users sometimes have difficulties. In particular, it is not clear how to save bookmarks of open pages.
Instructions
Step 1
Find in the upper right part of the browser window, just behind the address bar, the wrench icon. Click it, the settings panel will open. Select the "Bookmarks" line and tick the "Show bookmarks bar" item in the list that opens. A new panel will appear immediately below the address bar.
Step 2
Now open the web page you want to bookmark. Move the cursor to the bookmarks bar, right-click on it and select "Add page" from the context menu. A window will open in which there will be two folders: "Bookmarks bar" and "Other folders".
Step 3
By clicking the first folder, you will add the open page to the bookmarks bar, which will allow you to very quickly open this page - its bookmark will always be in sight. When you click on the second folder, the page will be added to the folder with the rest of the pages - the folder icon will appear on the right side of the bookmarks bar. To open the desired page, you just need to click on the folder icon and select the page in the list that opens.

After working with Google Chrome for a while, you will be able to appreciate all its advantages. At first, the combination of the address bar and the search bar looks somewhat unusual, but you will quickly get used to it and understand that this option is quite convenient. Google Chrome is best suited for surfing the web, quickly finding the information you need.
Step 5
But this browser also has drawbacks. If the user has previously worked, for example, in the Opera browser, then he will be unpleasantly surprised by the number of settings in Google Chrome. It lacks built-in ad blocking capabilities. There is no way to save pages in *.mht format - that is, in one file. The browser is extremely simple, so it will not appeal to those who are used to having many tools for fine-tuning the network.
