Users have a fairly wide selection of mail services: Google, Mail, Yahoo, Yandex, Rambler. The principle of working with correspondence is the same everywhere. When starting e-mail in Yandex, as, indeed, in any other system, make sure in advance that the mailbox can be restored if the need arises.
Instructions
Step 1
Registering a Yandex account consists of two steps. Thinking up a login for yourself at the first stage, try to choose one that will remain in your memory for a long time. If the password for the mail can still be restored, then in most cases problems arise with the login. Remember this.
Step 2
In the second step, you will be asked to select a security question, indicate the address of an alternative mailbox and enter a mobile phone number. Do not leave the indicated fields unattended, they are needed to recover your password. Decide which method is best for you, or fill in all the fields, so you will have more chances in the future.
Step 3
If you choose to provide a phone number, you will need to confirm it. You will receive a message with a code. Enter it on the appropriate page, it will be linked to your Yandex account. If you change your phone number in the future, open your passport with personal data and enter a new number. The same applies to the address of the alternate mailbox.
Step 4
When there is a need to restore mail, go to the Yandex service at https://mail.yandex.ru and click on the "Remember password" link on the left side of the tab. On the page for restoring access, enter your e-mail address in the empty field, enter the verification code and click on the "Next" button.
Step 5
On the next page, you will be offered ways to recover your password: by answering your security question, by sending a message to your phone number, or by sending your password to the second mailbox you specified. Mark the desired option with a marker and click on the "Next" button. Follow the instructions that appear.
Step 6
In the case when you remember the password, but have forgotten the login, it is much more difficult to restore access. Contact someone you know who may have received emails from you, they may have your email address. Or write to the support service. If you filled out the questionnaire in detail during registration, Yandex employees will probably be able to find your login in the system.
