One of the advantages of the popular online shooter Counter Strike is the ability to create your own server. Modify the default soundtrack for the game by embedding the sound file of your choice.

Instructions
Step 1
When installing a sound file in Counter-Strike 1.6, download or convert a version of the sound with the WAV extension using the profile program. In the directory with the game installed, select the userconfig.cfg file from a large number of configuration data similar in name and move it to the Cstrike folder.
Step 2
Rename the downloaded or customized audio file to voice_input. To play your original music, press the microphone button, which is usually the K key on the English keyboard.
Step 3
When creating any sound file intended for the Counter-Strike game, start the Fly Studio 8. In the upper part of the window that opens, click on the button with the scissors icon. Activate the first key from the bottom row and point to the Load Sample parameter. Highlight selected music or sound.
Step 4
After loading the file, point the manipulator cursor to the graphic sound table and select the fragments you need. Click on the button with the scissors and select Cut. Define the directory on your computer, give the file a name and save it in the specified location by pressing the appropriate button. In the Microsoft wave file (* wav) field, enter the string Microsoft compressed wave file (* wav).
Step 5
To create musical accompaniment when connecting to the game server, follow the link https://makeserver.ru/engine/download.php?id=62 and download the plugin. Copy the loadingsound.amxx file to / addons / amxmodx / plugins / and move the sound folder to Valve / cstrike.
Step 6
When installing your own music, choose the sound file you like. Rename it to "loading" and convert to wav format. Open the Vox folder and replace the standard audio file with your own. Restart the game server for the changes you made to take effect.
