Instructions
Step 1
If you do not have enough space on the system partition of the hard drive, do not rush to remove the working system and install a new one on another local drive. There are programs that allow you to reallocate free space between partitions. One of these utilities is Paragon's Partition Manager.
Step 2
Download this program from https://www.paragon.ru/home. Install the utility by selecting "Free version". It will only work for 30 days, but this is quite enough. Restart your computer after installing the program.
Step 3
Launch the Partition Manager shortcut and open the Expert Mode menu. Go to the "Wizards" tab, hover over the "Additional Features" item and select the "Redistribute Free Space" menu.
Step 4
In the menu that appears, left-click on the graphic image of the section, the size of which needs to be increased. Click "Next". In the new window, check the boxes next to the names of the sections from which free space will be taken.
Step 5
Click the Next button again. Fill in the "New size" field by entering the required value. Click "Next". Close the presets menu.
Step 6
After returning to the main menu of the program, open the "Changes" tab. Select the "Apply changes" item and confirm the launch of the program. Wait for the message that the computer needs to be restarted.
Step 7
Restart your PC. Wait while Partition Manager starts up in DOS mode. The process of reallocating free space can take several hours. After it completes, the computer will restart again. Open the "My Computer" menu and make sure that the specified settings take effect.
