You can remove the shields from bots in Counter Strike in different ways. In particular, Counter Strike is mainly a network game, so bots are usually used as training. Naturally, if you use standard bots, then the shields of the "counter-terrorists" can cause considerable discomfort during the game.
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way is to disable the bots' shields when training takes place on a special server. The network game has wider settings, including the installation of anti-cheat, removal of shields among the functions. This method, although simple, is not universal, since, most likely, training for several people or more will not suit everyone. You can remove the shield on your own server as follows: Directory with the installed game Counter Strikecstrikeaddonsamxmodxconfigsweaprest.ini. In this file you need to enter shield and save. Or there is another convenient way: use the AdminMOD server application, in the settings of which there is also a "remove the shield" function.
Step 2
Disabling shields in a single-player game, without a mandatory network connection, is carried out as follows: during the game, after adding bots (to add bots, you need to enter "~" Add bot in the console). Again, you need to enter the following setting in the console: bot_allow_shield 0. The method is simple, but it can create discomfort, since you need to enter this command every time during the game.
Step 3
In order for the bots to be more difficult (training) and to be optimally configured, it is best to install additional applications for the game. Kits of bots are suitable, which can be downloaded on sites dedicated to the game Counter Strike, or on other pages where various add-ons to games are located (for example, https://www.playground.ru or https://www.igromania.ru). For a convenient game with custom bots and without shields, it is best to use: a set of bots - Zbot, and in order to prevent shields from appearing at all, you need to install the No Shields plugin.
