Counter Strike can be played not only with real people over the network, but also against artificial intelligence. Computer controlled players are called "bots". It is especially exciting to play alone against a whole team of computer fighters.
Instructions
Step 1
Launch Counter Strike and create a new game. To do this, press the "New game" button in the Counter Strike start window. After clicking this button, a dialog box for selecting options for a future game will open. Select the card you plan to play on. After that, open the game options settings tab and set the desired gameplay parameters in it, such as the round time, the seconds of freezing before the start of the round, the starting amount of money for newly arrived players, the ability to shoot at friends, and others. Then click OK and wait for the game world to load, this can take from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the power of your computer.
Step 2
After loading the game world, select the team for which you will play. Then press the "` "key (next to the number 1 on your keyboard) to launch the Counter Strike console. First of all, type the command "mp_limitteams 20" in the console. This team sets the maximum number of players on one team. Then type the command "mp_autoteambalance 0". This command turns off the automatic balance, that is, the number of terrorists and counter-terrorists can now be unequal.
Step 3
There are two ways to add bots. The first way is to add through the console. To do this, write the command "bot_add_ct" in the console if you are playing as terrorists, or "bot_add_t" if you are playing as counter-terrorists. These codes add one bot to the opposing team, and you will need to enter them exactly as many times as you want to see bots in the opposing team.
The second way is to add bots. Press the H key and in the drop-down menu click the "Add bot to CT" or "Add bot to T" button, depending on the command.
