Minesweeper is one of the oldest standard games available in the Windows operating system. However, not all users know the rules of this game: instead of logical thinking, they click on all cells in a row, which invariably leads to a loss.

Instructions

Step 1

Start the game "Minesweeper". To do this, select "Start" -> "All Programs" -> "Games" -> "Minesweeper". In the upper window of the game, on the left side, the number of bombs that must be opened is displayed, on the right side - the timer. To start the game, click on one of the cells of the playing field. If only one number appears in the cell you clicked on, click on another cell at random. As a result, you should have a whole group of cells open. Now you don't need to click at random - just follow the rules.

Step 2

The numbers in the box show the number of mines that are located around in a radius of one cell. Based on this information, it is necessary to look for the installed mines. For example, if a cell contains the number 1, it means that there is one mine in the cells around it. If there is a number 2 in an open cell, it means that there are two mines in a radius around it. Comparing the information received from several cells, try to find in which undiscovered cell the mine is located. When you find it, right-click on it to check a special box.

Step 3

Having found a mine next to the cage and comparing the information received from neighboring cells, you can understand which undiscovered cell contains mines for sure. Click on this cell. It will contain a number again, or a whole group of cells will open at once.

Step 4

It is necessary to detect the following mines in this way. For example, you have already found two mines, and they are in the radius of the cell with the number two. In this case, it turns out that there are no more mines near this cell. Therefore, feel free to click on the cells in the radius of the number 2. By acting in this way, you can find all the hidden mines.

Step 5

After you find all the mines located in the playing field, points will appear on the smiley between the mine counter and the timer. This will mean that the game has been completed. You can start a new game on the same difficulty level or choose a different one. This difficulty level will depend on the size of the playing field.
