Podbot is a custom bot that was implemented by programmer Markus Klinge. It was developed for those users who do not have the opportunity to go online to play with a real enemy.
It is necessary

- - installed Counter Strike game.
Instructions
Step 1
Download the bot installation file from the Internet. This can be done on the website www.mgame.su. Wait until the download is complete, then unpack the archive into the folder with the installed game. Copy the file called liblist.gam to the cstrike folder, then copy the PODbot folder to the strike folder. Later versions select the installation directory automatically.
Step 2
Use the MetaMod function to install PODBot from an administrative account. This plugin is made to be able to run various additional applications, utilities that are designed to work on your servers such games as Half-Life or Counter-Strike. For example, Admin itself is such an application, as well as PODBot.
Step 3
To use the application from under Admin. Mod, make sure that it is created as a MetaMod plugin. If you want to use a bot that was not originally made as a plugin for MetaMod, first of all, install it. The installation will change the contents of the liblist.gam file in the cstrike folder. Therefore, be sure to install PODBot before installing MetaMod / Admin. Mod. During installation, this application will change the liblist.gam file, replacing the gamedll line in it, now it will point to the MetaMod DLL.
Step 4
Install the PODBot plugin in a different way: on a server with Admin. Mod already installed. During installation, PODBot changes the contents of the liblist.gam file. Therefore, the problem lies precisely in this file. Please do the following to solve it: copy the liblist.gam file from the hlservercstrike folder to any other folder before installing PODBot. Next, run the PODBot installation file, then replace the liblist.gam file in the plugin folder.
Step 5
To get the bots to work, in the d: hlservercstrike folder, use Notepad to create a new file named Metagame.ini. In this file, place one line that indicates the location and name of the bot DLL file.
