When creating animation in Flash, you often need to insert a moving object into a movie. Adobe Flash CS4 Professional allows you to set a motion path for this object, depending on the need.
Necessary
- - computer;
- - installed program Adobe Flash CS4 Professional.
Instructions
Step 1
Launch Adobe Flash CS4 Professional. Open the created animation, select the object for which you want to specify the trajectory of motion. Click the Selection tool in the tool palette. Next, select the desired path, to do this, by dragging and dropping, enclose it with the selection area and the target object.
Step 2
Move the path, to do this, just drag it, or click on the property inspector , set the values of the start (x) and end points of the movement. Use the arrow keys to set the trajectory of the object in the flash.
Step 3
Edit the shape of the motion path using the Subselection and Selection tools. Select the Selection tool, reshape the path segment by simply dragging it. The animation keyframes of the object will appear on the path as control points.
Step 4
Next, select Subselection to access the points and Bezier handles. They allow you to edit the trajectory of the subject at each separate keyframe position. If you want to create a nonlinear motion path, such as circular motion, add rotation of the animated object as it moves. To maintain a consistent orientation, select the Orient by Sweep option from the Property inspector menu.
Step 5
Click on the "Selection" tool on the toolbar, then click on the workspace. Use a selection to move the motion path segment to reshape it. To display the Bézier control points that refer to the path properties keyframe points, select the Subselection tool and click the path. Points are marked with diamonds. To move the anchor point, move it with the Subselection tool. To adjust the path curve, move the handles. To expand the markers, drag them while holding down the Alt key.
Step 6
Edit the motion path using the Free Transform tool by selecting the tool and clicking on the path. Scale, skew, or rotate the path as needed.
