It is difficult to send a large file over the Internet using regular email. Movies, musical recordings, photo collections or archives of documents can be sent to the addressee using special network hosting.
Instructions
Step 1
Large files can be sent via online messengers: ICQ, Skype, Magnet, etc. You will need to stay in touch with the recipient during the entire time the file is being sent. The speed of data transfer in messengers is determined by the bandwidth of your Internet connection.
Step 2
A large file can be uploaded to one of the free internet hosting services. Copy the link to the file and send it to the recipient by email, SMS or online messenger. Using the link, the file can be downloaded to the recipient's computer.
Step 3
Use the Mail.ru service. You can download and store files up to 1 GB on this resource for three months. If you do not have an account at Mail.ru, go through the registration procedure.
Step 4
Open your profile at Mail.ru. Go to the Files @ Mail. Ru section. To do this, at the top of the website, click on the "All projects" button. In the list that appears, select the "Files" line. This section can also be opened by typing https://files.mail.ru in the browser search bar.
Step 5
Click the Upload File button. In the window that opens, select the required file and click on the "Open" button. Wait for the download to finish. Click on the "Get Link" button. Copy the link and send it to the addressee. If necessary, you can return to the page with the downloaded file and get the link again.
Step 6
Yandex also provides file storage services. Their hosting can host files up to 5 GB in size for up to three months. You also need to register on this resource.
Step 7
Sign in to your account. Open the Yandex People tab. Click on the line "Select file". Find the required document in the window that opens and click "Open". Wait for the file to be uploaded to the server. After the download is complete, you will be offered a link that you can copy and send to the addressee.
