Sometimes you get bored. And to somehow kill time, you play computer games. But playing alone is boring, and a local network and, of course, your friend comes to your aid.

Instructions
Step 1
Open start. Move the cursor over the control panel, open it. Find the "Network Connections" shortcut. You open it.
Step 2
All your connections appear in front of you. But you need a local network connection. Hover over the shortcut and right-click on it. A window will open in front of you (see figure), click on properties.
Step 3
The local network settings window will open. Choose the Internet Protocol (TCP / IP). You open it.
Step 4
The Properties window appears: Internet Protocol (TCP / IP). Change the settings from "Obtain an IP address automatically" to "Use the following IP address".
Step 5
In the IP address cell, enter the following numbers: 123.123.123.1. you need to enter without dots, your computer will separate everything by itself.
Step 6
Next, enter the numbers in the subnet mask: 255.255.255.0. There is no need to put dots. You don't need to put anything in the other columns. Click Ok.
Step 7
Do the same on another computer. Only in the line of the IP-address, enter another combination: 123.123.123.2. No dots. The subnet mask is the same. Connect the network cable. And you can play.
