If you have just downloaded a new version of Mozilla Firefox and, having installed it, saw something new and incomprehensible instead of a blank page, then this detailed instruction is for you.
Instructions
Step 1
First, open the File menu and select New Tab from the list. Alternatively, you can press the key combination "Ctrl + t".
Step 2
As a result, a new page should open containing nine identical squares. The point of this page is that you can customize nine links that will open your favorite sites. Each link contains a picture and the name of the site. Click on any of the squares to customize the link.
Step 3
In the visual bookmark editor, you need to enter the address of the page to which the link will lead, as well as the signature to it. It will be much easier to select a link from the list of recently visited sites. When you are satisfied with the choice of the link, click on the "Save" button.
Step 4
Instead of an empty gray square, you will see a picture of the site you specified in the settings. If you click on this image, you will be taken to the desired page.
Step 5
If you want to change or remove the link, then you need to hover the cursor over the visual bookmark. Two buttons will appear in the upper right corner: the gear opens the editor, and the cross removes the link.
