If you decide to download a new version of the Opera, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser on the Internet and do not know what the bookmark bar is and how to use it, then this material is for you. Now we will conduct a small educational program on creating and configuring visual bookmarks using the example of the Mozilla Firefox browser. In other browsers that provide a visual bookmark bar, this process will not be very different.
Instructions
Step 1
To open and see the visual bookmarks page, press the Ctrl + T key combination or select File -> New Tab from the menu.
Step 2
The page you are looking for will open. What is its meaning? And it consists in the fact that you have the opportunity to set up several links (in this case, nine) to your favorite pages. So you can later go to the desired page from the bookmarks bar with one click of the mouse button. Each link consists of a title and a picture. Click on any square on the bookmarks page to customize the link.
Step 3
You now have the visual bookmark editor open. Here you can enter the address of the desired page to which the bookmark will transfer you, as well as make a signature for the picture. In addition, you have the option to select the desired page from the list of recently visited pages. It will be more convenient this way. After setting up the link, click on the "Save" button below.
Step 4
The saved bookmark will be visible on the visual bookmarks panel, and you can click on the link you need at any time. To customize the created visual bookmark or remove a page from it, move the mouse cursor over it. In the right corner on top of the square with the picture, you will have two icons highlighted. By clicking on the "Gear", you will open the editor. By clicking on the "Cross", you will remove the page from the bookmark.
