Every person who has experience of working on the Internet knows how sometimes pop-ups that suddenly appear on web pages interfere with normal network activity and which are not always easy and quick to get rid of. There are several ways to remove pop-ups.
Instructions
Step 1
Most modern browsers support scripts that block various pop-up windows, created using both pop-up and pop-under technologies. To block unwanted pop-ups in your browser, open the Tools window, then open the settings menu and set the blocking unwanted windows. Every modern browser has this feature. It is not difficult to block pop-up windows with this technology, but pop-under windows and banners are not so easy to deal with.
Step 2
To block such a banner, find out which site owns it. Open your browser settings menu and find the tab with blocked content. Add the site to which the banner leads to the blacklist - by blocking it, you will block the pop-under banner by default. Also, all advertisements of the owner of this site will be blocked for your IP address.
Step 3
You can also use the well-known plugin AdBlock Plus to block ad banners. Install this plugin in your browser, and then, when you see an unwanted banner, right-click on it and select AdBlock from the context menu. The banner will be added to the list of blocked ads.
Step 4
In addition, the plugin filters most of the banners on its own, according to the set filter. At any time, you can add new filters and lists in the plugin settings. This plugin works in the Mozilla Firefox browser, and in addition to it, there is also a NoScript extension for this browser, which blocks scripts and flash elements on all web pages.
