Step 1
Before starting overclocking, make sure that the cooling of the computer components is good. Download the CPUCooL app to monitor the CPU temperature. This application will not only allow you to monitor the temperature of the processor, but will also allow you to set the speed of the cooling coolers to the maximum, thereby protecting the processor from overheating. After launching the downloaded application, set the rotational speed of all coolers to maximum.
Step 2
To raise the processor frequency, you will need an appropriate utility. Download ASUS Ai Booster. Install the program on your computer. At the end of the installation process, you may need to restart your computer.
Step 3
Run the program. A window will appear with monitoring of the processor. There is an arrow at the bottom left of the program. Click on this arrow with your mouse. Another program panel will open. Pay attention to the toolbar at the top. Move the mouse over the panel component where the up arrow is drawn. Performance mode appears. Click on this arrow with the left mouse button. A menu of processor overclocking parameters will appear (from 3 to 30%). Choose by what percentage you want to increase the processor frequency. It is highly discouraged to select a parameter greater than 15%, since for this you must have a separate powerful processor cooling installed. After selecting the bottom overclocking option, press OK. Then in the main menu of the program, click on the inscription apply.
Step 4
The system will require a reboot. Reboot your computer. After restarting the PC, the processor frequency will be increased. If the computer works stably without interruptions, then this mode of the processor is normal. If for no reason "hangs" or reboots in this mode, lower the processor frequency to a level at which it will work normally.
