Cache integrity problems can arise for various reasons - viruses, incorrect updates, installing conflicting software, and so on. The issue is resolved using the Steam program, but only if you use licensed games.

Instructions
Step 1
Download and install the Steam software on your computer if you haven't already. You can do this on the official website of this service. Then enter your login information into the appropriate forms, making sure that you have the correct keyboard layout and that CapsLock or NumLock (for incomplete keyboards) is not enabled.
Step 2
Select the game in the running program, the integrity of the cache of which you want to check. Open the game properties, go to the menu with the name "Local files", select the action from the list to check the integrity of the cache.
Step 3
If you receive a message about the inability to start the game, check the integrity of its cache as described above. After that, it will most likely start downloading the missing files from the server.
Step 4
If you have certain problems starting the game and checking the integrity of the cache does not help, delete one of the system files of the program called clientregistry.blob, which is stored in the Steam folder.

Also, first check its attributes by right-clicking on it. Uncheck the "Read only" checkbox, then proceed to uninstall. Please note that the Steam application on your computer must be shut down at the time the changes are made.
Step 6
During the next launch of Steam, first make sure that you have an active Internet connection, since the program will automatically download the missing files. After doing this, the problem with the game will most likely be fixed. If the problem occurs again, you need to perform a full scan of your computer for viruses and Trojans, you can also use the system rollback to the previous date.
