System files can be damaged due to improper shutdown of the computer, power surges, improper uninstallation of programs or exposure to viruses.

Instructions
Step 1
Click the "Start" button in the corner of the screen and in the "Run" line enter the command cmd and press enter on the keyboard. A command prompt window will open. It will appear on a black background, so do not think that this is another system error.
Step 2
Type sfc / scannow at the prompt and press enter. The system utility Sfc.exe will start, which is designed to analyze system files. This program checks all protected files and, if unauthorized changes are detected, replaces the damaged file with a workable copy taken from a special area - the cache folder.
Step 3
The operating system of the computer is designed in such a way that in many cases it is possible to restore deleted information, return the system to earlier periods of operation, make backups, so if any problems arise, do not panic. If for some reason the system cache is damaged (it is located at "% system_root% system32dllcache"), enter another sfc / Purgecache command at the command line. This command will clear the cache and proceed with an immediate check.
Step 4
If you do not want to do this check right now, you can set it to be performed at the time of the next system boot using the Sfc / Scanonce command. Each time you boot your computer, the utility will run if you enter Sfc / Scanboot. After the utility finishes, you will need to restart your computer. Perform this procedure at least once every one to two months, and your operating system will work for a long time and without interruptions.
