Skype is a program that allows users to exchange messages, send information, talk and play in real time, even from different continents.

Step 1
Skype users are always happy to communicate, so many of them have the program configured by default to load automatically when they turn on their computer or go online. However, there were often cases when a friendly invitation to a conversation sounded in the middle of the working day, or personal messages came when the rest of the family was using the computer. To prevent such embarrassing situations and learn how to devote only free time to communication, set the password request function every time you turn on Skype.
Step 2
Activate the Skype program by double-clicking on its shortcut. The main window of your account will open in front of you. Click on the Skype button located on the top toolbar. In the context menu that opens, select "Exit": the system will close your account, but will not close the program.
Step 3
Double click on the "Skype" shortcut or open the program from the "Start" menu. A data entry window will open in front of you, without which work with your account will not be possible. The Skype Name column will contain the name of the user who last activated the program. By clicking on the arrow next to the name, select your nickname.
Step 4
Fill in the Password field by entering the password that was set during registration in the system.
Step 5
Before signing in, check the box next to Sign me in when Skype starts. Now the program will be enabled only after you enter your username and password in the authorization field.
Step 6
Do not forget to log out of Skype every time you finish communicating, otherwise the next login to the program using your credentials will be automatic.
Step 7
If you do not want Skype to turn on when you start working with Windows, in the Security settings, open the General Settings tab. Find the column "Start Skype on Windows startup" and uncheck the box next to this function. Click the Save button.
