Even though software developers try to simplify the interface of their products as much as possible, in some cases it can take a long time to find a menu button to execute a simple command. For example, the top menu bar in some applications may be hidden, and all attempts to restore it end in failure.
Instructions
Step 1
The latest versions of the Office software suite (2007 and 2010) from Microsoft use the menu bar at the top of the application window and is called the Ribbon as the primary tool for most operations. If you do not see this panel in Word, Excel, Power Point and others, move the cursor to the upper left of the window in the area with the buttons "Save", "Undo input", "Re-enter".
Step 2
Click on the rightmost icon with an arrow pointing down. In the menu that opens, click the last item: "Minimize the ribbon". The answer to this action will be the appearance of the main panel in your usual place.
Step 3
If you "lost" the bookmarks bar, which is also located in the upper part of the window as a separate menu bar, press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + B - the bookmarks bar will appear immediately. The same action can be performed by clicking on the wrench icon, and then selecting the "Bookmarks" and "Show bookmarks bar" menu items in sequence.
Step 4
In the Opera browser, any panel that developers have placed at the top of the window can be hidden and shown again using the appropriate command. The list of commands can be accessed by clicking the Opera button in the upper left corner of the window. Select the "Toolbars" item in the menu and check the box next to the panel you need (addresses, tabs, etc.) to restore it to the application's working window.
Step 5
If your browser is Firefox, click the Firefox button and select the Options command to restore or hide any menu bar. And Internet Explorer users just right-click in the free area of the bookmarks panel and mark the panel that needs to be restored in the context menu.
