Step 1
When working with an external Bluetooth adapter that connects to a computer via a USB port, install the drivers from the accompanying disc. Insert the specified DVD into your computer's drive and wait for the autorun menu to appear.
Step 2
Open the installer file and follow the step-by-step menu to continue installing the proposed software. Restart your computer after completing the above procedure.
Step 3
If you do not have a disc with the program, search for it on the Internet. Visit the Bluetooth adapter manufacturer's website. Find the Downloads or Drivers menu. Select the model of the device you are using.
Step 4
Download the program offered by the resource. Install the application. Reboot your computer. Check the functionality of the Bluetooth adapter. To do this, launch the program and synchronize with your mobile device.
Step 5
Finding the right software can sometimes be tricky. If you encounter such a problem, use the universal driver base. Go to www.samlab.ws/soft/samdrivers. Follow the Download link and wait for the files to be copied to your hard drive.
Step 6
Unpack the downloaded archive and run the DPS-drv.exe file. After scanning for specific devices is complete, highlight the menu items associated with the Bluetooth adapter. Click the Update button.
Step 7
Confirm the installation of unsigned driver kits multiple times by clicking Yes or Continue. After the program finishes, open the "Device Manager" menu. Make sure there is no exclamation mark next to the name of the Bluetooth adapter.
Step 8
Reboot your computer. Try running the installed software and make sure the Bluetooth module is working properly.
