Step 1
Call the main menu of the Microsoft Windows operating system by clicking the "Start" button and go to the "Run" item to perform the procedure for fixing the damaged autoexec.nt file, which does not allow starting the 16-bit application.
Step 2
Enter the value: drive_name: / Windows / repair in the "Open" field and confirm the execution of the command by clicking OK.
Step 3
Call the context menu of the found autoexec.nt element by right-clicking and selecting "Copy".

Return to the Run menu and enter the value:% windir% / system 32 in the Open field.

Confirm the command execution by clicking OK and open the found System32 folder by simultaneously pressing the Ctrl + V function keys.

Paste the autoexec.nt file you copied earlier into the folder of your choice and return to the Run menu again.
