The system program "Command Line" is included with every OS of the Windows family. If you can easily run this utility in Windows XP, this rule no longer works for Windows Seven.
Instructions
Step 1
The launch of the "command line" in the latest versions of Windows operating systems has a special level of protection. When you run the system utility, a warning about starting with administrator rights appears on the screen. Working from the administrator's account is not always safe. For example, in Linux platforms, the administrator must select a password when installing the system, otherwise the installer will complete the current operation.
Step 2
The easiest way to launch the above program is to use the "Run" applet. Open the Start menu and launch it, sometimes this line is not in the menu. To display this item, you need to go to the properties of the menu. To do this, right-click on an empty space and select "Properties".
Step 3
In the window that opens, go to the "Start Menu" tab and click the "Customize" button. In the list that appears, check the box next to the "Run command" and click the "OK" button twice.
Step 4
Now open the "Start" menu again, click the "Run" button and in the empty field of the window that opens, enter the command cmd. Then press the Enter key or the "OK" button. You will see a dark window of the "Command Prompt" application.
Step 5
Another method is no less simpler than the previous one. You just need to open the "Start" menu, left-click in the search bar and enter the word "Command" or the command cmd. Among the search results, you will see the title of the program you need. To launch it, left-click on the title.
Step 6
It so happens that the above methods do not give the desired results. In this case, we recommend that you use the search tools in Windows Explorer. To do this, you need to open any window, go to the system disk and press the key combination Ctrl + F. In the search box, enter cmd.exe and press the Enter key.
