After downloading a package of certain drivers from the Internet, you can save them to removable media. The best option for saving drivers is a flash card. Unlike a disc, information on a flash drive will be stored for a longer time. It should be noted that there are a number of specific steps you need to take before saving the drivers.

Instructions

Step 1

To find the required driver package for your computer, you need to visit the official website of the developer of the product that requires the required software. Once on the developer's resource, look for a section that allows users to download drivers. Here you need to select the type of your device, as well as its model. After a while, in the Internet browser window, you will see a form that allows you to download files from the site. Save the drivers on your computer by clicking the corresponding button in the form.

Step 2

After the drivers have finished downloading, you should open the folder on your computer where the files were downloaded. Before you save the downloaded drivers to a flash drive, you need to make sure there is no malware in the downloaded files. To do this, you must select the downloaded documents, then click on any of them with the right mouse button. In the file properties, you need to run the "Check for viruses" command. This command is only available if antivirus software is installed on your computer. After checking the documents for viruses, if the downloaded files are not infected, proceed to saving them to the flash card.

Step 3

In order to perform this action, you need to proceed as follows. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB connector of your computer, and then wait for it to be loaded by the system. Open the directory of the flash card. Here you need to create a new folder for the driver.

Step 4

Find the downloaded drivers on your computer and select them. Next, you need to press the key combination "Ctrl + C". Open the folder previously created on the flash card. While in it, press the key combination "Ctrl + V". The drivers will be saved on the device. Shut down the flash drive, then remove it from the USB port.
