Some PC users want to install sound when creating a presentation in Powerpoint, but, unfortunately, not everyone knows how to do this.
Powerpoint is a special program for creating presentations on a personal computer. With its help, the user can make a rather interesting and beautiful presentation in the shortest possible time. The program has a fairly wide functionality, which includes: adding effects, bundles, sounds, videos, etc. Unfortunately, not all users can use this program to the fullest and are content with only standard functions.
Sound in PowerPoint
Working with audio in Powerpoint is pretty easy and straightforward. With the help of special tools, the user can not only insert sound, but break the sounds into slides and stop it at a certain fragment of the presentation.
In order to work with this function, you need to go to the "Insert" tab and select the "Sound" element (speaker icon). In the menu that appears, you need to select "Sound from file". This will open a new window in which the user will be prompted to select a music file. Once confirmed, a corresponding icon will appear on the presentation, indicating that there is sound.
In addition, the Audio Tools Format and Playback tab appears. In the "Playback" tab, the user can change the sound parameters. For example, you can specify where the audio track will start, how it will work, whether it will repeat, etc. Of course, the sound icon itself can be hidden. To do this, you just need to put a tick in front of the corresponding item.
It should be noted that you can even add sounds to animation. You need to click on the appropriate tab ("Animation") and click on the "Animation area" button, after which it will turn on. After the additional menu opens for working directly with animation in the presentation, you can customize the playback. The user can customize the animation parameters so that it starts only on click, with or after the previous effect.
Solving Popular Sound Problem in PowerPoint
Users may face the problem of playing two music files. In order for them to play in a row, in the "Animation" tab, click on the arrow (located in the lower right corner of the "Animation" item). A special window "Sound: Playback" will open. Here you need to specify the file where the first sound file will end. After that, you can check the performance of the presentation and, in the event of a malfunction, check the sound parameters again.
