Step 1

Open Microsoft Powerpoint in Windows from the Start menu (All Programs - Microsoft Office). Wait until the end of the launch of the program and open the presentation you need in the window through the menu "File" - "Open" or create a new file, and then fill it with the necessary information.

In the top toolbar, select the Home tab. In the item that appears, click on the "Slides" button. After that, select the frame of the presentation where you need to insert the audio recording.

Go to the "Insert" section. In the "Multimedia" category, click the "Sound" button. Select the most appropriate from the options that appear. By clicking on the "Sound from file" option, you will need to specify the path to the folder where the file you want to add to the presentation is located. Double click on audio recordings. You can also add clips that come pre-installed in the graphics package by selecting the Sound From Clip Organizer section.

To listen to the audio file in the presentation, click on the corresponding icon that will appear on the slide after adding the sound. Select the tab "Working with sounds" - "Options" - "Playback", then press the "View" key.

To enable automatic playback when you switch to a slide, select the Automatic or On Click section in the toolbar. To continuously play a melody when showing one or more slides, click on the sound icon and go to the section "Working with sounds" - "Options" - "Sound options", then check the box next to "Continuous playback".

If you want the sound to play when showing two or more slides, go to the tab "Animation" - "Animation settings". Click on the arrow next to the icon of the selected melody and select "Effect Options". Go to the "Effect" tab. In the "Stop playback" section, specify "After" and enter the number of slides, when viewed, the audio file will be played.

Step 7

To preview the audio before adding it, go to the Clip task pane. Click on the icon of the added file and click on the arrow next to its name. Select View & Properties.
