Step 1
Carefully inspect the packaging of your removable drive, it is quite possible that it contains on one of its elements the information you are interested in about the identification number of the device. This is the easiest way to find out the ID of your flash card.
Step 2
Use your Garmin car navigator to find out the ID of your flash card. To do this, insert it into the dedicated slot in the navigation device, turn it on and enter the Garmin service menu.

Press and hold the screen in the corner on the battery icon. In some models, you need to press the watch.

Go to the menu titled “Data card test page” and overwrite the serial number of the drive. You can also use a different navigator, the sequence of actions will be approximately the same.

If you have a smartphone or PDA, check the identification number of the removable storage through it. To do this, you will need additional software to display information about the memory modules connected to the mobile device. There are a lot of such programs, they are developed separately for each platform, but not all of them work properly.
