Step 1
It is not difficult to make a high-quality film from your own video material, as well as previously cut fragments from famous works or clips. To do this, it is enough to use one of the specialized programs. There are quite a few of them, among which there are professional ones with many special effects, video transitions and a number of other additional functions, and those that even a beginner can master. At the same time, the quality of videos is often no worse than professional ones.
Step 2
The principle of operation of such programs for creating films is largely identical: you need to add video fragments, transitions between frames to the project, add titles, captions, define a style, select the output format of the finished video and start the process. Then you need to save the movie to your computer or any other removable media.
Step 3
One of the simplest and most accessible programs for most users is the standard application of the Windows operating system - Windows Movie Maker. If this is not in your assembly (for example, it is absent in the seventh version of the OS), download it from the official Microsoft website and install it on your computer.
Step 4
Run the program, open a new project. In the left part of the working window in the "Record video" section, select the "Import video" item and add the files you need to the project. If your movie intends to use a voiceover or sound, add them using the Import Sound or Music function. Then drag the selected files to the very bottom of the page - to the storyboard scale. Determine the order in which the files are played by moving them along the scale. If necessary, trim the music by moving the slider.
Step 5
In the "Film editing" section, open the sub-items "View video effects" one by one. "Viewing video transitions", "Creating a title and titles" and, following the prompts of the program wizard, add the necessary transitions, titles, effects to the project. If desired, use the function of creating an auto film, for this select one of the available video styles. Then the program will do everything for you.
Step 6
The last step in making a movie is completing and saving it. In Windows Movie Maker, this step is also extremely simple and straightforward. Just clearly and consistently follow all further points of the program.
Step 7
The Nero Vision application of the multifunctional Nero program is also suitable for creating your own movie. Launch the program, select "Photos & Videos" and open "Create Your Own DVD-Video Disc". In the right part of the working window there is a section "Create a movie". Open it and import the video files stored on your computer. Add them to your project by dragging them onto the storyboard scale. Add captions, animate your text, set transitions for each frame, or leave the default ones. Then add the created movie to the disc, make a disc menu, put it on record and wait for the process to finish.

It's pretty easy to work with muvee Reveal, which is also called quick creation of your own films at home. The application imports photos and videos from a computer, removable media, captures files from a camera and photos, provides video design in several style albums to choose from, overlay titles, sound, music or voice.
Step 9
CyberLink PowerDirector, Photo DVD Maker Professional, ProShow Producer have also proven themselves well in the process of making films. They are successfully used by both beginners and directors with little experience in working with video. Pros tend to prefer Pinnacle Studio and Sony Vegas. However, everyone can try and experience them in action.
