Microsoft Power Point is one of the most widely used electronic presentation software. It allows you to make them both "from scratch" and using ready-made design templates.
Necessary
- - computer;
- - skills in working with Microsoft PowerPoint.
Instructions
Step 1
Select the audio files you want to add to the presentation, copy them to the folder where it is located. Next, open the presentation file. Select a slide, then click "Insert", select the "Multimedia" option, click on the "Audio" command.
Step 2
Choose one of the options for inserting sound into your presentation. To add a pre-prepared sound file from your computer, click on the "Sound from file" command, then specify the folder where it is located and select the required file. Alternatively, click on the Sound From Clip Organizer option, select the appropriate clip and click on it.
Step 3
Preview audio in your presentation. To do this, click on the sound file icon on the slide (in the form of a horn). Go to the "Working with Sounds" section, to the "Options" tab, then select the "Playback" group and click on the "View" command. Or double click on the sound icon.
Step 4
Customize audio playback in your Power Point presentation. When you insert a sound, a window appears in which you must specify the order in which the sound is played - by mouse click or automatically. If you select the second option, the sound will be played immediately when this slide is shown, and if the slide contains other sound effects, they will sound first. If you select On Click, then you will need to manually start the audio playback. If several sounds are added to one slide, they will sound in the order in which they were added.
Step 5
Set the audio file to play continuously in a single slide show. Click on the sound icon. Go to the "Working with sound" section, to the "Parameter" tab, select "Sound options" and check the box next to the "Continuous playback" option.
Step 6
To play sound for the entire presentation, go to the Animation tab, choose Animation Settings. Next, select "Effect Options". Go to the "Stop playback" group, then select the "After" option, and then set the total number of slides during which the sound file will be played.
