Step 1

If for some reason you cannot open the following sites: mail.ru, odnoklassniki.ru, vkontakte.ru, vk.com, then you need to change, or rather clear, the host. Open the My Computer menu by pressing the Start and E keys at the same time.

Step 2

Now open the list of folders located on the system partition of your hard drive. Change to the Windows directory. Now locate and open the System32 folder. Navigate to the Drivers folder and open the etc. Find the host file that has no extension. Click on it with the right mouse button and select "Open with".

Step 3

Now select the "Notepad" program and click the "OK" button. Delete the entire contents of this file by pressing Ctrl + A and then Delete. Save by pressing Ctrl and S. Close it. If a message appears stating that you do not have access rights to this file, then close the host file without saving. Click again on it with the right mouse button and select "Run as Administrator". Repeat the above algorithm.

Step 4

If in this way you could not clear the contents of this file, then simply delete it. In the event that deleting the host file is not possible, restart your computer and hold down the F8 key. In the menu that appears, select the "Windows Safe Mode" item. Follow the procedure for cleaning the desired file as described in the third step.

Step 5

If you cleaned the host file, and access to resources still does not appear, then repeat the algorithm for entering the etc. folder. Now open the folder properties and go to the "View" tab. Check the box next to Show hidden files and folders. If after activating this item you see another host file, then clear it. Be sure to check your computer with an antivirus program after completing all of the above procedures.
