Antivirus software is not always able to prevent unwanted files from entering the system. In such cases, we recommend that you take some steps to help identify and remove malicious files.

Instructions
Step 1
Open the settings of your antivirus program and update the databases. This must be done before every computer scan. Go to the Scan menu and highlight all hard drive partitions and USB drives. Activate the item "Deep Scan" or "Full Scan".
Step 2
Start the file analysis process. After its completion, look at the list of detected virus programs and remove them. If any files cannot be deleted, then select "Move to Quarantine".
Step 3
If you are not sure about the reliability of the anti-virus program you are using, download the Dr. Web Curelt. Run the downloaded exe file. Press the Ok button several times in the windows that appear. After opening the main menu of the CureIt program, click the "Scan" button and wait for this process to complete.
Step 4
If the antivirus programs used could not remove some of the virus files, then restart the computer and start the safe mode of the operating system. Typically, this requires pressing the F8 key while the PC boots up.
Step 5
After loading Windows Safe Mode, run a rescan of your computer. In this case, it is better to specify specific folders where the malicious files are located.
Step 6
If specific files cannot be deleted because they are being used by a program or application, press the Alt, Delete and Ctrl keys at the same time. In Windows XP, the Task Manager will start automatically. In Windows Vista and 7, select the appropriate item from the menu that appears.
Step 7
Disable unnecessary processes by pressing the Delete key after selecting them. Try to remove the virus files again. Reboot your PC after the anti-virus program has finished running.
