Whether you work with graphics programs, do design, edit videos and photographs - how your monitor reproduces colors is especially important to you. Correctness of color rendering is the key to the correctness of your visual work and its adequate assessment and perception. If you are just getting started with photography and working in Photoshop or Corel, you need to calibrate your monitor to make sure it has the correct colors.
Instructions
Step 1
There are several different ways to calibrate the color reproduction of your monitor. The most expensive way is to purchase a special high-precision calibrator that connects to a computer and provides the highest quality calibration. However, not everyone has the opportunity to buy such a calibrator and pay for the software required for its operation.
Step 2
A more affordable and easier way is to use a variety of monitor calibration programs, including those supplied with your video card. The disadvantage of this calibration method is the lack of clarity and accuracy of the result, but for lack of a better option, you can use any of the similar programs - for example, Atrise Lutcurve.
Step 3
This program corrects the color image on the screen according to the gray area that the human eye is sensitive to. The program corrects color inaccuracies in the image with sufficient quality and makes your monitor comfortable to work with.
Step 4
Working with the program should not cause you any difficulties due to the intuitive interface and the ability to translate the controls into Russian.
Step 5
With the help of the program, you can achieve the desired technical characteristics of the monitor - a gamma from 0, 1 to 5, 0, a color temperature of 6500 K, a luminosity level of 80 and other important parameters.
