A number of Photoshop users, mainly designers and photographers who have been working with the program for a long time, prefer to use the English version of the program. It has a number of advantages - designers use the universal language of English terms in Photoshop. However, many people who are just starting their first steps in mastering Photoshop or do not speak a foreign language would rather prefer to use the Russified version.

Step 1
Most new versions of Photoshop have several language packs, and if you have an English-language interface installed, the program must have a Russian language pack in parallel. Open the Edit menu and find the Preferences section. Here you need the "Interface" tab, open it.
Step 2
You will see a large window of settings for the interface of your version of Photoshop. You don't need most of the parameters listed there. Find the "Text Options" section below. Select Russian from the list of suggested languages, and also change the font size if you want (Font Size). Confirm the changes with the OK button, and then restart Photoshop. As you can see, the changes took effect, and your program acquired a Russian-language interface.
Step 3
If you find a Photoshop tutorial that uses English, not Russian, terms, you shouldn't have any problems. Open the interface settings menu again and do the same work, just the opposite: set the main interface language to English. When required, change it back to Russian.
The ability to quickly and easily change the language of the program frees you from the need to search the Internet for lessons with some specific terms in Russian and choose more understandable step-by-step guides and instructions. Having learned how to change the interface languages, you can use any instructions in any language and get a high-quality result.
