Some authors of Adobe Photoshop tutorials are more supportive of their readers and, along with the mention of the English names of buttons and commands, they also mention the Russians. But what if not? I have to change the language in Photoshop to English.
Instructions
Step 1
The first method can be used by those who initially installed the English-language "Photoshop", and then put a crack on it. Click the Edit> Preferences> General menu item (or use the Ctrl + K hotkeys), select the Interface tab, find the UI Text Options field, and select English from the Interface Language drop-down menu. Click OK for the changes to take effect. however, this method will not work if you specified Russian when installing Adobe Photoshop. However, there is also a way out of this situation - you can bypass the interface and delve into the system files.
Step 2
If you have Adobe Photoshop open, close it, start Windows Explorer and open C: / Program Files / Adobe / Adobe Photoshop CS5 / Locales / ru_RU / Support Files. Keep in mind that the program may be installed in a different location (not on the C drive) and have a different version (not CS5), so edit the path above according to your situation. Create a new folder in this directory with whatever name you like. Find the tw10428.dat file, cut it and paste it into the newly created folder. Now open Adobe Photoshop and watch the interface flaunt in English letters.
Step 3
If you want to Russify the program again, close it and transfer the tw10428.dat file back to the C: / Program Files / Adobe / Adobe Photoshop CS5 / Locales / ru_RU / Support Files folder.
