There are several ways in which you can change the color of the eyes in Photoshop. The method, which will be described below, is simple and allows you to give your eyes the desired color and saturation in just a few minutes. This will allow you to drastically change the color of the eyes, give them a different shade, or simply eliminate the red pupils that appear from the camera flash.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the photo in which you would like to change the eye color.
Step 2
For the convenience of work and more accurate selection of the area of the eyes (pupils), it is advisable to enlarge the image (menu "View" -> "Zoom" or using the Ctrl ++ keys).
Step 3
Select the Oval Margin Tool (M) from the toolbar.
Step 4
Select the eyes (pupil area) with this tool. To work with two pupils at once, select also the second eye while holding down the Shift key. Select the eyes carefully so as not to touch the eyelid area. If during the selection you selected a little more than necessary, or you need to reduce the selection, go to the next step.
Step 5
To adjust the selection, select the Straight Lasso Tool (L).
Step 6
Select with this tool the extra area of the selection made, which you want to subtract, while holding down the Alt key. After selecting the fragment, release the key and the mouse button.
Step 7
Thus, subtract all unnecessary fragments from the selection area.
Step 8
To change the color of the eyes, use the Hue / Saturation function. This function can be opened via the "Image" menu (Image -> Adjustments -> Hue / Saturation) or by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + U. Alternatively: Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Hue / Saturation. In the second case, in the window that appears, you can also set the opacity level, for example, in the case of a slight shade change and for optimal color naturalness.
Step 9
Adjust the sliders in the Hue / Saturation box until you are satisfied with the resulting eye color.
Step 10
The new eye color is ready.
