There are many ways to change the color of a particular fragment of an image in Adobe Photoshop. If you need to slightly recolor very small areas, the geometric shape of which is not very complex - such as oval irises of the eyes, then you can use one of the simplest methods.

Instructions

Step 1

Load the image into the program.

Step 2

Scale the image so that you can clearly see the part of the face of interest - namely the eyes of the model.

Step 3

Select the Brush tool (Brush). On the parameters panel - it is located in the upper part of the window, under the main menu - set the following modes for it: the blending mode (Mode) - to the value Color, the parameter transparency (Opacity) is about 40-50 %%. It is better to take the diameter of the brush slightly less than the width of the distance from the pupil to the border of the iris, and it is better to reduce the hardness of the brush to naught.

Step 4

Now it's up to creativity. Select the base color you want to recolor the eyes of the model - you can do this by double-clicking on the colored square located at the bottom of the tool column. Gently brush over the main area of the iris. Of course, this may not work the first time, then you have the Undo command (Undo the last action) or Step Backward (Return to the previous step) from the Edit menu. On your keyboard, you can press Ctrl + Z or Alt + Ctrl + Z to undo a failed brush stroke. By experimenting with color, you will most likely be able to paint over the main area with no difficulty. Now you can add a natural color to the color: by changing the color of the brush to a warmer or colder tone, add these shades directly around the pupil, and tint the periphery of the iris in other tones.

Step 5

When you have achieved the desired result, save the image using the File> Save As command, specifying a new name and location for the image. Keep in mind that saving the corrected file on top of the original image - specifying the same location and file name, you will act, to put it mildly, unprofessional. You may still need the original image - and precisely the original one - in the future, never destroy it of your own free will.
