A folder is a file system element, a structure for storing files and other directories. Public access to a folder is understood as access to its contents by several users both over the network and from one computer.

Instructions
Step 1
Right-click on the folder and select "Sharing" from the menu that opens. You have made this folder available. Next, we will configure the access rights of various users to this folder.
Step 2
In the window that opens, select the "Share" item, click "Apply".
Step 3
Open the "Security" tab. Select in the upper window the users or groups whose rights you want to configure and click the "Change" button. In the window that opens, select the items that coexist for this user, and then close the window by clicking the "Ok" button. Configure the rights for other users in the same way, and then close all windows by pressing the "Ok" button. As a result of your actions, you have opened the general access to the folder and restricted the rights of users to work with it.
