Step 1
In order to regain access to an operating system blocked by an advertising banner, it is best to use recovery discs. In the case of Windows XP, their role is played by all sorts of collections of programs, such as Reanimator and LiveCD.
Step 2
If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, then the discs containing the installation files for these OS will help you to restore the operating system.

Insert the disc into the drive and turn on the computer. Press the F8 key. A window will appear on the monitor with the choice of a device to boot. Specify your drive and press Enter.

In the case of the LiveCD (Windows XP), find the System Restore menu and start the process. If you are dealing with newer operating systems, then wait until the window appears, which contains the "Advanced options" menu, and go to it.

Select Startup Repair. This feature allows you to automatically fix boot files.

If you do not have such disks at hand, but you have a mobile phone with Internet access (you can also use a laptop or computer), then try to find the code to remove the banner.
