There is a category of virus programs that cause ad windows to appear on the desktop. To get rid of the described module, it is necessary not only to disable the banner itself, but also to remove the corresponding programs.
Instructions
Step 1
In most cases, the ad module can be easily disabled through Windows Safe Mode. To start the system with the required parameters, restart the computer by pressing the Reset button.
Step 2
Select the desired item after the launch options menu opens. If the ad module does not open in safe mode, go to your computer's control panel. Open the Add or Remove Programs menu.
Step 3
Find all the utilities related to running java applications. Remove these programs. Uninstall the utilities responsible for launching flash programs.
Step 4
Connect to the internet and go to www.freedrweb.com/cureit. Download the proposed utility following the instructions of the step-by-step menu.
Step 5
Run the downloaded application. Click the Scan button. If the corresponding menu appears, confirm the deletion of the malicious files.
Step 6
Now open the contents of the System32 folder, which should be in the Windows directory. Search for files using the * lib.dll key. Delete all found files of this format.
Step 7
Restart your computer and select Boot Windows Normally. If, after performing all the described manipulations, the advertising module has not disappeared, use another PC or mobile phone to access the Internet.
Step 8
Open the web pages sms.kaspersky.com and www.drweb.com/xperf/unlocker. Enter information from the text of the ad module in the required fields. Click the Find Code button.
Step 9
Enter the resulting combinations in the field of the advertising module one by one. Be sure to respect the case when entering passwords. The banner will turn off after entering the correct password. Then follow the steps in steps three through six while operating in your normal operating system mode.
