Windows Task Manager is designed to manage running processes, as well as to diagnose the system in real time. The task manager is often used to reduce the load on the computer, free up RAM, and kill unnecessary or frozen processes.
Instructions
Step 1
The task manager is invoked by pressing three keys simultaneously: Ctrl + alt="Image" + Del. Alternatively, the task manager can be invoked by right-clicking on the Windows panel to which the "Start" button is attached, by selecting "Start Task Manager" from the drop-down menu.
Step 2
There is a situation when, when the Windows Task Manager is called, a window appears with the message "The Task Manager has been disabled by the administrator." Usually, this is the result of viruses, if the computer is your personal and not your work one. How do you enable Task Manager then?
Open "Start", select "Run" (if you are using Windows 7 or Windows Vista, the "Run" shortcut is located in "Standard Programs") and enter the command “gpedit.msc” (without quotes) in the window that appears. Click “OK”.
Step 3
The operating system Group Policy window will open in front of you. Select "User Configuration", "Administrative Templates", "System", "Features CTRL + alt=" Image "+ DEL". Double-click the left mouse button on the inscription "Delete Task Manager" and in the appeared uninstall properties window select "Disabled" (namely "Disabled", not "Enabled"!).
After the done process click "Apply" and "OK" and close the Group Policy settings window. Now try to invoke the task manager by pressing Ctrl + alt="Image" + Del.
